The food here is always really good! I always feel service is a huge gap for this business. I've gone a number of times for lunch, and the service is just slow period, regardless if it's a busy crowd or not. It's a great "hole in the wall" type place. Mussle soup is good. Nothing is super "Special" but always good quality. Food: 5 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 5

Lived nearby for years and finally got to try it out. Food - a few of the dishes we tried were really good like the lobster pot pie but some were mediocre like the Margherita pizza (with full olives on them). Service was rushed at times but also server was overall pleasant. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $50–100 Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4 Recommended dishes: Lobster Pot Pie

We were looking forward to a Valentine dinner but left without eating. The rude girl at the front desk insisted on seating us at the worst table in the restaurant saying that was the one “assigned” to us. Almost every other table in the restaurant was empty! She refused to work with us saying that we did not specify in our reservation that we didn’t want to sit by the kitchen. Seriously. They clearly play favorites. Will not return until she’s gone. Went down the street to Jonathan’s the Rub and even though it was Valentine’s Day and we didn’t have a reservation, they found a way to seat us. That’s called service- something clearly lacking at Bistro 555. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
