This restaurant offers an entirely perfect version of Turkish grilled lamb. Some have said that it is expensive, but not at all in terms of quality. Red wine by the glass is very reasonably priced and the perfect complement to the meat. Mezzes are delicious. Don’t miss this place.

This family owned ocakbasi is easily the best hidden gem in plain sight in Bodrum Marina. It is also the best lamb that I had on the Aegean coast. The taxi driver nor the ‘face man’ at Marina Yacht Club did not know of it. After I called the restaurant, I was able to meander my way into this lovely multistory house overlooking the marina. The owner is very personable and the waiters very kind and attentive. All of their lamb is sourced from one farm in Turkey. I paired Adana kebab, lamb ribs, lamb chops and lamb filet with Urla Tempus wine blend (I had visited the vineyard as part of the Urla Wine Trail). The lamb was flavorful, fresh, natural. I enjoyed the food and the experience thoroughly.
