Bittersweet is my go to coffee place when in Highbury. The owner, Henry, is really friendly. He makes good coffee and the cafe looks really nice with some gorgeous plants growing. Their coffee is probably the cheapest in Highbury excluding Coffix (haven't actually checked all cafes but it's $4 for a small white coffee, $4.5 for medium and $5 for large and I think non-dairy milk has no added charge). I've only ordered food a few times but it was delicious. I highly recommend this place either to enjoy a coffee alone or catch up with friends.
