Love this place so much. My favorite cafe. They have so many yummy options so they're great for breakfast, brunch, or lunch. Every drink I've tried has been delicious. And the employees are so nice, they usually remember my favorite orders and are always upbeat. Plus, if I don't hear them call my drink, or they can tell I'm working, they'll bring it to my table. Usually you have to go get the drink from the counter so I appreciate them taking the extra time when I'm distracted. Lots of outlets and different seating. Great for working or bringing friends. In Emeryville, the absence of milk tea spots is a downside, but Black Diamond Cafe comes to the rescue! The lychee tea with lychee jelly was a needed refreshing drink after a sweaty walk from Bay Street. There is a large diverse menu which offers plenty of coffee and food options. I also ordered their Oolong Milk Tea and housemade boba- which is agar boba. The paninis hit the spot , but I'd like to try something else next time! I appreciate this little pocket of quiet away from the busy streets. It's almost easy to forget just blocks away is a bustling shopping center. It's an awesome place to work and study with unique individual seating. Beware of one thing, there are fat rats around this area!
