Very nice atmosphere, it is noisy, but that fits well with the overall picture of Black Smoke. Music and decoration are nice. Great choice of beer, good cocktails and the food is just very tasty. I had the signature style spare ribs and they were absolutely fantastic. Special compliments to the very cheerful hostess who welcomed us upon arrival. Only downside was the employee who cleaned our table and I think we were unlucky because the rest of the staff seemed super nice and competent. But while we were ordering he suddenly started talking to someone else twice. Several drinks were forgotten, he cleared half the table and then didn't return for the rest of the empty plates and 2 of the 5 desserts didn't arrive until quite late after the first 3. But all in all, Black Smoke is definitely recommended! Especially with a larger group. In any case, we had a pleasant evening with good food! Ate here for the second time. We were surprised by the knowledge of the service regarding cuts of meat. The atmosphere is also what you would expect at a BBQ restaurant, just cozy. Black Smoke Rotterdam is a typical barbecue restaurant that has everything a meat lover could wish for. The meat is top quality and the flavors are fantastic. The restaurant always stays nice and busy, but the speed of service makes enjoying the food even better. The only drawback of Black Smoke Rotterdam can be the crowds. It can be quite noisy, which makes conversation with others difficult. It may not be the best place for those who prefer a quieter evening. The restaurant is in my opinion not suitable for people over 60 years old due to the crowds and noise level. For those who enjoy good food and crowds, Black Smoke Rotterdam is simply perfect!
