Really nice play to relax and dine in, the buttermilk pancakes were great and the service was amazing. The bacon was very dry and fell apart from a simple poke. And the eggs were a little off putting. But frankly I'd still give this place a 4/10. I met up with some friends at this cafe and it was perfect for us. We went on a Friday morning at 9 and the inside seating was full, but it was a beautiful day and we sat at one of the outside tables and really enjoyed it. Because they were so busy when we arrived, the service was just a bit slow, but we weren’t in a hurry. Two of us ordered the Phoenix omelet with a side of bacon, and one ordered the American breakfast. The portions were hardy and tasty. Their potatoes are soooo good. And the bacon is thick cut and plentiful. There is a nice choice of toast options, we ordered sourdough and ciabatta between us and were not disappointed. Love the inclusion of the fresh fruit cup on the plate. We will definitely return to Black and White Cafe! Just superb. Excellent quality ingredients and well cooked and presented. Potatoes well seasoned, hollandaise perfect, and all breads well grilled. If I had one request, please add a deeper/earthy coffee option. Oh, chocolate muffins are wonderful as well. I've had the breakfast club (my favorite), breakfast croissant, eggs Benedict, irish oatmeal, and one of the omelet options to date. We bring friends here and now eat breakfast at least once a week.

It's a small cafe so you may need to wait on busy days. We've been lucky all but once, though we did wait nearly an hour one day (we were at the end of a wave and they try to serve in the order seated)

So, though there could be service delays the food is worth it. Just relax and enjoy!
