This is the ideal spot if you like conflicting experiences. The coffee and food are so good that the prices aren't so offensive. Coffee quality and latte art are top notch, but cortados are served in a ramekins, sometimes. And the people, lord, the people. Imagine a grocery store experience full of the oblivious, the entitled, and the criminally inept as pertains to social space--a phenomenon which extends from the parking lot to the interior. Guy who does multiple three point turns to fit his oversized truck into two different spots only to leave and park on the street, well, he's a Blacksmith regular. Couple with stroller who blocks the line, them too. Kif Kroker and date who won't bus their table but stand in the way of you bussing your own, Blacksmith royalty. I'll be back. And I won't like it then either. And it won't be until I forget how abjectly spatially obtuse the people here are. But the coffee and food are quite enjoyable.
