Satay was bland, needed more sauce; waitress brought more sauce after requesting. Tuna was well prepared and very tender and fresh. Dietary restrictions: Lots of gluten free options. My daughter and son-in-law went there for dinner. I had the satay sampler, for about the 100th time. I love it. The beer is cold and The service is great. I AM STILL WAITING 3 DAYS LATER FOR THE PROMISED REFUND ON THE BURGER WITH BLACK HAIR IN IT. I have never eaten at this restaurant before as I've been told that their food was not that great by people in the community; but despite being told that, a couple of nights ago, I thought I would finally give them a try. I ordered the McMurray burger which I thought was pretty decent. Sunday night, 8/20/23 I did not feel like cooking so decided to do another take-out order again. My daughter and I had ordered the same thing off of the menu. Typically, when doing a take-out order, I always go to either Texas Roadhouse, or Longhorn, but being that Blackstone is only a few blocks from my home, I liked the convenience of just running up the street to get a quick bite to eat. I picked up my order around 6:15 P.M. drove home and thought I would be able to sit down to eat a relaxing dinner. I took four bites of my sandwich only to find a piece of black hair thickly wedged into the sandwich meat and the cheese. Was that ever disgusting! I called the Restaurant immediately, spoke to a manager of the name of Adam, although I had other ordered items on my receipt, he said that he would refund the price of the burger. So far, checking with my online banking, the order was not refunded back onto my bank card. This is so disgusting and there is absolutely no excuse for it whatsoever. The manager offered to remake my burger, and after what I have experienced with having the hair in my food, there is no way in h*ll that I will ever eat at this restaurant again. I am also very concerned about how clean the kitchen area of this restaurant is. Knowing that there was hair so embedded into the burger, I can only imagine the poor unsanitary conditions of the kitchen, and what type of unhygienic practices that their cooks/employees have. I am beside myself with the thought that that food was in my mouth with someone hair in it. I am hoping that I do not get sick. In the past couple of nights of ordering from this restaurant I spent over $90.00 on for burgers, it's a luxury that I can afford, but I should be able to rely on sanitary food services! I do not recommend this restaurant to anyone. If you do eat there, eat at your own risk.
