Today I bought a bag of hamburger bread from Charcutier in Batroun (bakery name Bledore), and unfortunately the quality was very disappointing. The bread was extremely dry and started breaking apart as soon as I tried to cut it. It did not feel fresh at all and was not suitable for making burgers. For the price and expectation, I really hoped for better quality. Food: 1

Amazing bakery that honestly made me question why I bother with store‑bought bread back home. Walked in, everyone was smiling like they actually enjoy working there (rare sighting these days). The place smells like happiness — you know that fresh baked smell that makes you forget whatever diet you were pretending to be on? Yeah, that. Staff? Super nice, the kind of people who make you feel like a regular even if it’s your first time. And the food wow. Real, original taste — like someone’s grandmother is in the back saying “no shortcuts, no mercy.” If you come here and don’t try the cheese or zaatar, that’s a YOU problem. Consider this your sign.
