Amazing service. Upmarket ambiance. Great wine. But do not eat here if you’re vegetarian. A meat eaters version of vegetarian food is a salad or bread / pasta. And that’s what you get. Main veggie meal options are burger, bao or pasta. I went with the cold salad. As the wine is good I had a good time. But paid a lot of money for a very disappointing meal. Vegetarian options: Main veggie options limited to salad and bread / pasta. Not great veggie protein options. Very disappointing for an upmarket place. We had an incredible experience at the Blockhouse Kitchen. Not only was the staff hospitable and kind, they were very accommodating with ensuring my grandmother’s needs were catered for. The restaurant also offers child friendly facilities. I ordered a dirty beef burger. The food was delicious and flavourful, and the portion size was well priced! I’d highly recommend this establishment to anyone who’s looking for a restaurant that could accommodate both needs for the elderly and for young families.
