You can go to this cafe if you appear to be near Vodka Museum Amsterdam. Belgian cuisine is well-cooked at Lunchcafé Blom. It's a pleasant experience to taste good bacon, baguette sandwiches and hamburgers. Come here for tasty pancakes, Dutch pancakes and apple pie if you are hungry. A collection of delicious beer or good wine is provided to guests. Drink the great cappuccino, mint tea or hot chocolate served here.

This bright and cheerful cafe is located on a busy shopping street close to Damrak and the Centraal Station. We have been here a couple of times and there is plenty of choice on the extensive and varied menu. On this occasion, I had a tuna baguette and a soft drink and my partner had a burger and a beer. The portion sizes aren't huge but there is more than enough for a decent lunchtime meal and the prices are reasonable.The decor is lovely, smart and chic, and this is not your average greasy spoon type of cafe. The staff were really friendly and efficient and though the Lunchcafe Blom was very busy, there were plenty of staff to cope with the rush. The service is excellent and very prompt which is good if this is your last stop before you need to catch your train or bus. We plan on visiting Amsterdam again fairly soon and this cafe is on our list of places to return to.
