I was on party last night after long time and I was happy stuff members Is very nice price's not bad atmosphere brilliant, definitely I planning to come back one day

I went to the Blue Bell Inn for a quick drink with some friends after hearing some positive reviews about it, however was completely appalled at the quality of the customer service and frankly the demeaning manner with which the bar staff treated us. My friend asked for two vodka shots and a glass of water. Granted it was a busy night, so it's understandable that the bartender misheard the order. When he came back with the two vodka shots in a glass of water, we told him that that was not what we had ordered, and if we could have the three drinks in separate glasses.Instead of accepting that this was what we meant, the bartender flat out refused to redo the order and stated that he couldn't do anything about it. (We had already paid for the drink). I don't know how many people drink double vodka and tap water, but for some reason the bartender couldn't see what was odd about this and when the manager eventually came over since we weren't happy accepting the wrong drink, he simply looked down at us in disgust, rolled his eyes and walked off to the other side of the bar. Clearly we were wasting his time, even though we had just paid £5 for a drink we did not order.I tried to engage in conversation with the bartender and the manager again but the two simply ignored me.The staff at the Blue Bell Inn were completely uncooperative and succeeded in making us feel very small. We were not rude, we only wanted to point out that we had been given the wrong drink. If we had been disrespectful I would have completely understood why the staff refused to even talk to us as I've worked as a bartender in the past. But the fact is, the staff were incredibly rude and the manager didn't even have the decency to deal with a small complaint. I have never been treated so disrespectfully by bar staff in my life, and will certainly never be going to this overpriced, overrated pub again.
