Blue Monkey Tavern is a nice bar to get together with old friends or to catch a Philly sports game. You have two choices when it comes to dining at Blue Monkey Tavern. You can wait to be seated or grab a seat at the bar. The bar is pretty spacious and offers a lot of seating. They have a few beers on tap and they also have a few happy hour specials as well. Now let's talk about food. The food that was served was fried cheese curds, chicken fingers, and a grilled chicken sandwich. One amazing thing is they provide gluten-free bread for any of their sandwiches and burgers. They were very accommodating with my gluten allergy and it was great knowing that I was able to eat here. The food was pretty okay. It was not anything fancy but it was good. The food tasted like your typical bar food. Overall, I was pleased with the atmosphere and the service of Blue Monkey Tavern. I will be back!

1st visit wont be our last! Great food, my burger was the best i had in a long time! Beats Pjs by a mile! Food came out hot and delicious! Our server Lillian was great and you can tell she loved her job..it was refreshing!
