I got the ice cream and it's so good ! I got cookies and cream and blueberry cheesecake. The cookies and cream had big cookie pieces ! They also give generous scoops, it's worth the price. Price per person: $1–10 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Blue Parrot Coffee has two locations. There is one at Granville Island and another one inside Hillcrest Community Centre. I had lunch with a friend at the one inside Hillcrest Community Centre. Featured here: Coffee Frappe Matcha Frappe BLT Sandwich Macaroni & Cheese Mango Mousse Cake Blueberry Cheesecake The area is small with just a few tables for dining, and it's a simple setup.but there are some surprisingly good eats at this coffee shop! Who would have thought that one could eat so well from a community centre coffee shop? I'm a Mac & Cheese girl at heart, and while I often try to encourage our daughter to try new things, this was my chance to indulge in a simple bowl of Mac & Cheese! Can't remember the last time I ordered a bowl of plain old Mac & Cheese for myself. This was such a treat for me! The Blueberry Cheesecake was quite dense and heavy. We weren't too fond of this item. The Mango Mousse cake on the other hand, was very impressive. I was quite surprised with how intense the Mango flavor was in this cake. The Mango flavor really popped out at us! Two thumbs up to Blue Parrot Coffee's Mango Mousse Cake! They sell a good selection of other items, including ice cream! They also offer free food for people short on cash. It looks like the free food would be "Day old" items, but probably best to inquire with them about it. If you're in the area and looking for a quick, casual and tasty meal, Blue Parrot Coffee is definitely worth a try! Service: Good Parking: Plentiful and free Location: Hillcrest Centre, 4575 Clancy Loranger Way, Vancouver, BC

Blue Parrot Cafe at the Hillcrest Community Centre is like my second home. The Manager, Roseli, always greets her customers with a warm smile and welcome! The music for the early birds (like me) is just so soothing like as if you were in a hotel. Only Roseli plays this type of music in the early mornings which is very soothing to one’s ears and mind. The coffee is incomparable and is first class. The toffee nut latté with whip is pure Heaven. I love their shepherd’s pie and grilled sandwiches. I love the friendly atmosphere this café emits which makes one love to return most especially when it’s the Manager, Roseli who attends to both adults and children’s orders. She is always so cheerful, professional, and friendly. I give Roseli and the Blue Parrot Café at the Hillcrest location 5 Stars!
