Blue Pearl has always been a really great place to relax during a long sunny day — excellent drinks, a modern cuisine style and a lovely atmosphere (the waffles are still our favorite!). This year we were a little surprised to see that the menu has expanded to include traditional Greek dishes from the nearby restaurant Me Nou Krasi. While it’s great to have more variety, it slightly changed the original character of the place that we enjoyed so much. Just out of curiosity — is this a permanent change, or a seasonal collaboration? Either way, wishing you continued success! Meal type: Lunch Price per person: €15–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

I had a late lunch/early dinner at Blue Pearl after a very long tattoo session at Salty Drop Tattoo. It was raining, and the service was excellent despite the slower day. The fish soup was amazing - so hearty and in a delicious broth that I could tell was cooked with a lot of intention. The French fries are fresh potato wedges and the menu has a little bit for everyone. Only wish I had more time in Nea Chora so I could go back!
