Come for the view, not the food. The scenery is absolutely stunning, but the food is just as disappointing. As someone who travels frequently and enjoys trying restaurants wherever I go, I can honestly say Blue Terrace has one of the most beautiful dining views I've experienced. The floor-to-ceiling windows frame an incredible landscape, and the setting alone makes you want to stay for hours. A special shoutout to Anna, our hostess, who was genuinely warm, gentle, and welcoming. She made us feel well taken care of from the moment we arrived. Unfortunately, that's where the positives end. The food was consistently underwhelming. The beef was so tough that it was difficult to chew. The fish was bland and lacked proper seasoning. The salad dressing had a strange flavor, and the tuna didn't taste fresh—it had a noticeable fishy smell. The cocktails were unbelievably sweet, to the point that all I could taste was sugar syrup. The smoothie also didn't taste like it was made with fresh fruit; it tasted overly sweet and artificial. Dessert wasn't any better. The crème brûlée was overwhelmingly sweet, and the custard underneath was too runny instead of having the smooth, properly set texture you'd expect. Our bill came to 680,000 IDR for two, which made the experience feel even more overpriced. With a location and view this spectacular, I expected the food to match at least to some degree. Sadly, it didn't. I'd happily return for the scenery and Anna's hospitality, but not for the food or drinks.
