Hurricane Ian closed the business. The entire shopping mall is closed. Not a real loss.

I went down to the BluWave Lobster House and was impressed by the atmosphere. However, we quickly saw that in the open kitchen, there was no actual cooking! There were no pots or pans or any visible sign of food being made at all. It was obvious that the beef barley soup was reheated Progresso soup and the Coconut Shrimp App was made from frozen. For frozen, pre-made food, the prices were egregious. The only good thing was the cranberry bread (clearly not homemade) and the alcoholic drinks. We also had a very nice waitress, Karen, who is much too good for the place! BlueWave- you should be be named Truman's because it felt like we were in the Truman Show with all actors and no real chefs. Save yourself a trip, and don't go.
