Lovely atmosphere and staff where very good. Sandwiches where lovely but the very small scones and cakes where disappointing. Did not look home baked like before suggest defrosted from freezer? Food: 3 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Meal type: Other Price per person: £10–20 Dietary restrictions: My friend is allergic to fish and this was catered for.? Lunch at Bo’Vine to celebrate a family friend’s 80th birthday. Food was excellent and couldn’t be faulted. Service was quite slow and a wee bit hit and miss. I’m sure the serving staff were doing their best, but it all felt quite disjointed. Drinks in particular took around 15 minutes to arrive even though the restaurant was pretty quiet. Thereafter service picked up. Atmosphere was very quiet for a Sunday lunchtime. We were the only table (for 3) booked in for lunch - the other four tables were all people using vouchers for afternoon tea. We were on our own by the time we left. Overall we had an enjoyable lunch - perhaps looking at addressing service could make the venue more appealing? Food: 5 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 2 Meal type: Lunch Price per person: £40–50
