Have been coming to the Ramsgate boating pool since I was a kid (30+ yrs ) and it's had different owners, running the cafe and lake over the years but always remains a personal favourite place to go with the kids for a sunny day at the weekend or in the school holidays, there is a playground, great food and pizzas made from fresh on site and then why you relax in the sun let the kids hire a boat and wear themselves out paddling around the lake for an hour.
