Bobby Boy Bakeshop is a high-end bakery located in Winston-Salem that specializes in French baked goods. The establishment offers a classic and elegant ambiance with a touch of modernity. The interior design is chic and stylish, with a beautifully designed patio for outdoor seating. The price range is on the higher side, but the quality of the food justifies the cost.
The bakery is known for its exceptional pastries such as the apple Danish, peach and pecan Danish, and the decadent chocolate croissant. The ham and cheese croissant is a must-try, and the Ruben sandwich is divine. The coffee drinks are full barista quality, including the iced latte with brewed coffee ice cubes and the mocha made with homemade chocolate sauce. For those who prefer soft drinks, the Orange Calamansi Soda is a refreshing option.
Bobby Boy Bakeshop also offers a wine selection, which is a different business but shares the same approach as the bakery - sale. The bakery's staff is polite, patient, and willing to answer any questions, making it a great spot for a special treat or moment with sugar. The establishment has limited parking, but it's worth the wait in line. Bobby Boy Bakeshop is a local treasure that everyone should check out while in Winston-Salem.
Was excited to try a James Beard semi-finalist in my hometown. I was not disappointed in my croissant or my latte. I wanted to eat more. Service: Dine in Meal type: Other Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Croissants

We popped into Bobby Boy Bakeshop after seeing it was nominated for a James Beard award. When we arrived (Friday lunch) the line was out the door. We were prepared for a long wait but pleasantly surprised at how fast the line moved. Staff was friendly and helpful during the ordering process. No indication of stress due to the volume of customers. We ordered the quiche and meatball sub with a couple of the decadent desserts. The quiche was light and delicious. The sub was a work of art - bread was delightful, meatballs were quality and sauce was outstanding. Together it was a masterpiece. Desserts were delicious. Definitely not your usual bakery items. They were artfully prepared and just as yummy. James Beard worthy!
