It’s not often I give 5 stars but the new Bob’s Chophouse in McKinney deserves it. Me and two close girlfriends once again picked a gem for our monthly excursion. The new restaurant is dark like most traditional steakhouses but this one also has an open concept. I ordered the chopped salad, rack of lamb (medium rare) and a glass of their red Zin. The lamb was good but with a little char it could have been perfect. Yes, we even shared a slice of the amazing chocolate cake!! This is precisely why I work out! The best part of our visit is by-far the expert service. Our server Brian could not have been a better fit. He was fun, patient and knowledgeable about the menu options. He even used the crumb scraper, isn’t that how we judge an upscale restaurant venue? I recently dined at Bob's Steakhouse for the first time at this McKinney location and it exceeded all expectations. The portions were generous, reasonably priced, and the steak was undoubtedly the best I've ever had. My wife and I both enjoyed our meals immensely; I opted for the prime ribeye while she indulged in the delicious crab cakes. What sets Bob's apart is that their plates come with a side, ensuring a satisfying dining experience. Our waiter, Donald, was exceptional - friendly, efficient, and made us feel like regulars from the moment we walked in. His professionalism elevated our date night to something truly special. Needless to say, we'll be returning to Bob's Steakhouse for more memorable evenings. Highly recommended for anyone craving a top-notch steak and a wonderful dining atmosphere.
