I want to love this local restaurant, but can't. Servers are wonderful and do their best to make up for the slowness of the kitchen - even on a very slow night. Dining room/ bar is nice, but small and loud. Very nice covered patio area. Salad was very good. Pizza and entree just ok. The real kicker is the price. One drink, two glasses of wine, one personal size pizza (just a simple margherita) and one entree set us back 120 bucks before tip. That's too much money for what we had, especially for a place that wants to be the neighborhood hang. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $50–60 Food: 3 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Bocado is an amazing little neighborhood restaurant in northern Chastain Park that you just don’t expect! The food is amazing. Think farm to table, selectively sourced, high-quality, and lovely. Food is Italian-ish. Pizzas are plentiful and delish. The entrees are high end. Fish, steak, homemade pasta, unbelievable salads. Brian, the owner and chef, really knows how to create an atmosphere. The restaurant is aesthetically beautiful. Seating at the bar is first-come-first-serve and fun!! The servers and staff are excellent! “Everybody knows your name!” I strongly recommend a visit. And try the wood fired bread with stracciatella! You’ll be back for more. Price per person: $50–60 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Unlikely to return. First off they will sneakily upsell you on bottled water so ask for tap to avoid an outrages charge. The pizza was pretty good but there’s other spots around that are just as good and better priced. Place was very dead for a prime dinner time on the weekend. Price per person: $20–30 Food: 4 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3
