As several others have already pointed out, Bodegan has a very cozy atmosphere and undeniably knowledgeable waiters, however, I don't love the food. Ordered the five-course "decision anxiety" menu, which had low lows and not very high highs. Initially, a plate of chips and Kalix roe is served, which were unfortunately overtaken in terms of taste by the lemon curd that had to act as the batter. Part of the main course was the cod loin with potatoes. And the following hurts a little to write, but as someone who very recently went to school and regularly ate this very combination, I wasn't very impressed with Bodegan's interpretation of this dish. I can find few words to describe my feelings about this dish, but "sad" fits quite well. Other dishes, on the other hand, were very good. For example, the rillette was delicious together with the sourdough bread. The thinly sliced steak with gruyere cream was a very interesting flavor combination - perhaps not appreciated by everyone around the table but definitely worth trying! I can imagine this is a great place for a glass of wine and some snacks. The atmosphere and music were really top class, but in terms of food, Bodegan falls short for my taste. From a restaurant like Bodegan I expected more. Having said that, I imagine that a new menu will soon be in place and then Bodegan will have another chance.
