It was recommended by friend from Sevilla. Particularly for marinades. Such a lovely place Any time of year, I guess. I was in hottest time in July with well vive 30 C. Still chill excellent courtyard under the summer night skies and mild wind. Marinades were so well done and rare which I never tasted before such as cuttlefish with onions and boquerones à la retama. But even simple tomato with tuna was so well marinated , I could easily have two portions and stay in this! This is Andalusian test for chef - like mashed potato test in France! This tomatoes is an art! Why Michelin guide did not pick them, mystery for me! But maybe in the future! Team of waiters is wonderfully attentive they immediately come over to take the order. I will be there where I can and try these recipes and more marinades. They have fresh fish à la planca, fried fish and meat and seafood are popular. So thankful! Area around has botanical gardens. If not so hot lovely to walk. Thank you everyone in La Retama! May your business flourish and chef and team be healthy and satisfied and happy too! May your customers be good!
