I was a member of a large group that had a reservation at Bœuf & Cow. This was my first day in France and my first dining experience in beautiful Caen. The restaurant itself is quite charming in decor and in a great location. The staff had us all seated promptly and they were a delightful bunch. Extremely friendly and helpful with menu choices, and they checked often to make sure we were enjoying our meal. I stepped out of my comfort zone, I mean I was in France, and tried foie gras and steak tartare for the first time. Both were above what I was expecting and delicious. A molten chocolate cake was my dessert option. I enjoyed everything about the place and why it's a recommended stop.
