Hi Stephen, Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback. We’re sorry to hear that your visit didn’t meet your expectations. We do, however, want to clarify a few points. Our matcha is prepared fresh to order for every customer. We also checked our sales records and, over the last two days, we did not serve any hot Matcha Lattes—only iced Matcha drinks, which were all served in takeaway tumblers rather than ceramic mugs. Following your review, we also carefully inspected all of our cups. We did not find any cracked mugs. We found one cup with a permanent stain in the glaze, but no cracks or damage that would make it unsuitable for use. If we ever discover damaged crockery, it is removed from service immediately. If a customer is ever unhappy with the taste of a drink, we are always happy to remake or replace it straight away. Had you mentioned your concerns during your visit, we would have done everything we could to put things right. We take hygiene and food safety extremely seriously, and we appreciate all genuine feedback that helps us maintain our standards. Following your original review, we took your concerns seriously and carefully checked our crockery. We were unable to find any blue mugs with the deep cracks or damage you described. Nevertheless, we fully agree that damaged crockery should never be used, and anything found to be chipped, cracked or otherwise unsuitable is removed from service. We also appreciate your clarification regarding the matcha. We’re sorry that the drinks were not to your taste on this occasion.
