1st time did a shrimp platter take out with the Po Boy. Po Boy was a win. The shrimp platter inedible. Full of salt. Ordered mild... spice was overbearing. Food: 1 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3

Crawdads weren't purged very well. Decent size though. The flavor didn't soak in the meat either. They will charge you on butter and seasoning. Also forgot my corn and potatoes that came with the 5lb boil. Not sure why I tipped $5 when I did everything myself, even when they're just standing at the counter with zero customers. Boudin bread was tasty though. Kids liked it too. Price per person: $20–30 Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3

Recently, I visited The Boil House and had been wanting to try the “Trifecta” po’ boy after hearing people compare it to the legendary Darrell’s Special. I’ve been eating Darrell’s for a couple of decades, and the Trifecta was absolutely incredible, so much meat stacked. In my opinion, it was even better. I think it’ll give Coolers a run for its money. The bread was perfectly toasted, the combination of meats and flavors was spot on, and every bite was outstanding. If you’re a fan of the Darrell’s Special, you owe it to yourself to try the Trifecta. The roll was Highly recommended.
