Really enjoyed the food at Boithok! The cha was lovely, full of flavour and just the right amount of sweetness. The food was fresh, tasty and full of authentic flavour. Highly Unprofessional Customer Service and Mismanaged Billing. I am writing this review to advise future customers to be cautious due to a highly disorganized and unprofessional experience at Boithok Restaurant. After we settled our bill using Apple Pay and departed, the restaurant's poor internal communication led to a chaotic situation. The staff completely lost track of the payment and wrongfully confronted other patrons. When we stepped in to clarify the situation and provided our digital transaction proof, the management dismissed the error as mere "confusion due to being busy," showing a complete lack of accountability for the public embarrassment they caused. The customer service, particularly from one of the male staff members handling the floor/billing, was entirely unacceptable. He was loud, confrontational, and exhibited highly unprofessional, biased behavior. Instead of resolving the issue discreetly and politely, he escalated it publicly, making customers feel extremely uncomfortable. Additionally, there is a concerning lack of transparency regarding their digital payments; the Apple Pay transaction statement displayed a completely different business name rather than the restaurant’s actual name. Important Advice for Future Customers:. To avoid similar situations and false accusations, I highly recommend taking the following precautions if you visit: 1. Always request and secure a physical receipt immediately after any payment. 2. Take a screenshot or photo of your payment confirmation if you are paying digitally. 3. If paying in cash, do not leave the counter without an official receipt. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously to reform their staff training and streamline their billing system.
