Unfortunately, it is not recommended to land here. We were there shortly before opening and were immediately turned away because, according to the innkeeper, we had not made a reservation “4 days before.” What an irony The sound makes the music. And unfortunately it didn't fit at all! We will never come here again. We wouldn't feel comfortable with this absolutely arrogant and unfriendly staff anyway. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

The top insider spot on the Bavarian Sea! Buoy 5 on Herreninsel on Lake Chiemsee is a hidden gem. Despite its modest appearance, the location impresses with great cuisine and an incomparable ambience, especially at sunset, and is also the perfect place to enjoy a summer aperitif. The staff is friendly, the wine and drink selection is great, and the food is excellent. Can be reached with your own boat or Chiemsee steamer to Herreninsel. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: €30–40 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
