This was my second time to bombay sizzlers but first time in this new location. Went with my wife for dinner. Tikka taco is a place with fusion food concept and Bombay sizzlers specialized in bombay style food. Ordered sweet corn soup, sweet corn bowl, chicken tandoori tacos and a chicken tikka biryani rice bowl. Soup was delicious and was served super burning hot. Tacos were good with fusion flavors from desi masala spices with mexican sauces. Chicken tikka was fine but the biryani rice in bowl was very dry and grainy. Service was good & Friendly staff. Ambience was also fine with bollywood music playing on the screen.

I visited this place for a weekday dinner with some of my friends. The place is situated besides the Patel Brothers (famous Indian Grocery store) and serves Indian cuisine. Here is my perspective about the place.

Food (2.5/5) -. We first ordered “Sidha Tandoor Se” sizzler. The Tandoori aloo and Hara Bhara Kabab was good but the panner tikkas lacked flavors. Also, the daal makhani that was served with platter was pathetic. One of the worst daal makhani I had in recent times. Then I went on to try their Triple Fried Rice. Even that tasted very average. Also, portions were less compared to the prices.

Service (2/5) - The service was very poor. I agree that Tandoori items take time and they told it would take around 20 mins but it took way much more than that. On top of that, they even forgot to serve mango lassi ordered by my friend. It was a Thursday night and still the place was almost full. Maybe that could be the reason for this. They didn’t expect these many people and then didn’t have staff to cater that many people.

Ambience (4/5) - This was the best thing about the place. Their ambience tries to show the famous places in Mumbai. They have made multiple sections inside the restaurant such as Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus, Hanging Gardens, Gateway of India. The design on walls differentiate the sections.

Overall, I had a really bad experience here and won’t recommend this place.

Went to this place twice . There menu has food what we usually expects from any Mumbai restaurant . There veg sizzler was for 22 $ but not worth price paid. It had only 6 pieces of kebab.other then that food was good and tasty. Service was not that good. Many staff looked lost may be they we're new .
