I Placed my first order with Bombay spice, Minehead this evening. The order was placed online for home delivery. I thought I'd give this new place a chance and ignore the bad reviews I was hearing from friends and family. However, not 20 minutes after placing the order, I received a text notification that my order for x1 chicken korma, x1 plain rice and x1 plain naan, totalling £24 was rejected.. No follow up or reason given as to why my order was so unable to be fulfilled. It was a basic order that's hard to mess up. I live just around the corner but have sleeping baby, so can't leave home to collect, but its barley a 30 second walk from the restaurant to mine. I paid in advance by card, and now have to wait 5 days for a refund. Thanks! I'll try somewhere else. Very disappointed. Price per person: £10–20 Service: 1

We have had one takeaway and it was by far the best Indian I’ve had in Minehead. Hopefully next one will be as good. Especially appreciated that the base of the mild dish I ordered wasn’t as overtly sweet as the Indian mild dishes tend to be in this town. Will ask for a medium version of this dish next time. Price per person: £10–20 Food: 4 Service: 5

Have to be honest this has been the worst Indian food I have ever had. They have a limited menu and out of several dishes ordered none of them could be classed as tasty. There is no spice to the food at all. Very bland food not a good standard for any Indian restaurant. Will never order again. Food: 1 Service: 4
