While the food came out immediately, the namesake banh mi was incredibly mediocre and dry - felt like a beefed up American version with a ton of meat and hardly any veggies. Also no jalapeños! Pate was hard to find on it. Our tamarind triangle bowl had no tamarind and a similar level of flavor. Was 75% noodles with a couple peanuts, 1.5 cherry tomatoes, large clumps of scrambled egg, and fried shallots. We covered it in sriracha. Just go to a small hole in the wall place instead. This is the chipotle of banh mi and noodles. Meal type: Lunch Food: 3 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Vegetarian offerings: Clearly labelled vegetarian dishes
