Service shocking. Waited nearly 11/2 hours for the children’s food. Permanently short staffed. When our food eventually arrived the chips were not browned, there was an overdose of lettuce on plate and two half tomatoes. Schnitzel was dry. I phoned the restaurant and spoke to manager. Asked the owner to contact me but he never bothered. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: R 200–250 Food: 2 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 4
We enjoyed our stop over at Bona Terra Cafe. It has a lovely family atmosphere and beautiful surroundings. Indoor and outdoor dining space and located on a nursery for those who like to shop for plants. It has a large play area for kids with outside and covered play areas so your kids will not get bored. My only criticism is that the jungle gyms need some maintenance. On a wet day you need to bring a change of clothes for your little one because they will get muddy : ) definitely worth a visit!
