Bonanza is usually always a pleasant experience. But unfortunately incidents have occured overtime which has led to this review. We have been let down by the hospitality and cafe team over a number of events. We simply wanted a milkshake and we were constantly told it wasn't available. This occured over 4 different occasions, poor stock management. On the final event, we were told there is stock this time but it's not available due to stock count. Due to process they refused to serve. It got worse, we had management come over and now the story changed, we then told there was no stock. So someone was lying to us? In providing feedback to the manager, they smuggly responded insinuating that it was 'just a milkshake' and when we mentioned that things are dropping in quality, they were quick to state their reviews online and social media suggest they are on the up. So here I am giving people a clearer picture of what's happening here. We spend good money here and bring alot of golfers with us, it was disappointing to be faced with such attitude when we are trying to give them valuable feedback, we are faced with attitude and a lack of gratitude. To dismiss our feedback that standards have dropped with a response that they feel differently due to online reviews and social media just shows the ignorance of senior staff here. So let's hope from taking reviews with such high regard, THIS review, maybe gets through to them. As I write this here, I am told their straws for drinks are out of stock... Fifth visit something out of stock. This time straws... How do you not realise when your supplied are low? I really hope for the best, it's a shame, we hope next time we come things are in better order. --------- An added review following the above, I visited them again this week and this time I was presented with chips stuffed in a sandwich packaging box. Because their take away boxes had apparently been finished and not replenished in 4 days. So just confirmation, the issue has not been resolved and the inventory management is deteriorating even more. Disappointing yet again. See attached

Hilarious For the last day of their visit to Zambia I thought a lunch for my guests at the Bonanza Golf Course would be nice. It was not busy and as a treat I ordered a good bottle of wine close to a 100 dollar. The food and wine was ordered and as it goes in Zambia the waitress returned after 15 minutes telling me that they were introducing a new wine list and would I be interested. She gave me the list and I had a look but told her that I would stick to my choice as I had the wine before and knew it was worth the money. After another fifteen minutes the waitress returned to explain that the wine I ordered was not available anymore, could I make another choice. Which I did. We now had been waiting for 45 minutes without a drink and the food arrived. While it was being served, I asked for the wine, she would attend to it she said. Can we have three glasses of house wine for with the meal I requested. That was possible. We started on the food but no wine arrived, after 5 minutes I walked over to the bar and told the bartender that I would take three glasses of wine to my guests as the waitress obvious was not up to that task. The bartender told me that the waitress instructed him not to pour the wine as my ordered bottle was on the way. We finished our meal, no wine had arrived. I called the waitress and asked for the wine, she came back 10 minutes later with a bottle of wine. It was not the bottle I ordered and the bottle was lukewarm. The hilarious bit is that the waitress just had no idea whatsoever that her service was below standard, for her this was a normal day.
