Food was not good or tasty. Steak was dry & some of it was hard. They were out of refried beans but had fresh beans on the counter that they could have made into refried beans, but they didn't. Tamale was supposed to be pork, but I don't know what it was besides cold & empty. Rice was cold & tasteless. The best thing I ate was a bite of jalapeño & the fanta soda I drank. I was very disappointed, I ended up just throwing the Tamal plate meal I ordered away. It was a waste of money!!! Sorry, I was so disappointed I didn't even take a picture!

I moved to Kansas City after living my whole life in So Cal. Finding a good spot for Mexican Food has been crazy but this is the spot. I now come here for the market, food in house and I buy meat at their Butcher. This place is a must go for all taco lovers. If you haven’t been here you are welcome and if you have you know what I am talking about. i recommend the carne asada tacos and avocado salsa.

I would like to lead with $1 TACO TUESDAY I saw a shimp cóctel at the register that I was really sad I didn't get to try. My tacos were great, the sauces are spicy... I love the pickled Jalapeños, but it seems like they are always almost out of them. Get there early for dinner rush or you will definitely be in line. We got there around 645 and watched the line grow after us. Doing Keto, I did not eat the tortillas, more meat to enjoy. I thought the chicken would be a boring choice for a taco and I was pleasantly surprised. I have to go back to try the discada tacos. All of my Tuesdays in the Kansas City area will always be spent at Bonito Michoacan
