Where do I begin. My partner and I arrived in Paris - dazed and hungry for culture, art and romance (who isn’t?). But more than any of those, we were hungry for food.We chanced upon Bonjour Vietnam as it was round the corner from our hotel and thank god for that. Yes, we came to Paris, but we found ourselves in Ho Chi Minh. Hi Chi Minh? More like Ho Chi WIN, Ho Chi Come-On-In, Ho Chi Look-At-My-Grin.We entered and the host immediately beckoned us to a table. All jokes. All smiles. We hit it off from the get go. Starter? Don’t mind if I do. We’re hungry, remember? Fresh beef winter rolls. Stunning in every way, but no description could do them justice – just go and try for yourself. Mains? Well, when a place has ‘mysterious rice’ on the menu, who am I to say no??? The host gave a hearty laugh when I ordered it but that guy knows what’s up. He nodded. Ten minutes later I was presented with a dish which was mysterious, suspicious,,,,,…… delicious!!Anyway, enough about my meal, time for you to start making memories. Stop reading, start living. You’re welcome.
