This is one of our favorite restaurants in Maplewood and I'm sad to say goodbye . June 15th will be last day of service, so come check it out one last time before this Maplewood icon goes away. From the bar swings on one side of restaurant to the functional back porch, Boogaloo is truly unique in every way So I ordered some of my favorite dishes and I'll say that my stomach will miss this place as much as I will (as if we were two separate entities)! From the Jerk chicken wings with jerk glaze and coconut run down sauce (whatever that tastey creation is), to Brazil Nut Encrusted Manchego Cheese, Smoked St Louis style ribs and the delicious Chicken and Andouille sausage gumbo, Boogaloo chefs know how to please. The Caribbean Tripleta sandwich and Creole Jambalaya with cornbread bring the entrees home. Ok, I really wish I had the recipe for their house cornbread because it is simply off the chain! As I sip a delicious Perfect Manhattan from the bar one last time, I bid you and Boogaloo adieu!
