Fabulous. Had pear and walnut ravioli, squid, Beef Bourguignon pie, onglet steak and a chocolate and rum pudding. All delicious. Jo was informative and lovely. Her husband who must be the chef, very talented. Had a lovely local fruity cider If you’ve not been, go! Fantastic little restaurant. We will be back in the summer with our daughter when she returns from uni. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £40–50 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

This is the PEREFCT restaurant! Korean glazed chicken wings, mussels in cider sauce and GINGERBREAD AND HONEYCOMB ICE CREAM?! The food is out of this world, the place is homey and cosy and bright and such a good use of space. The owners are so unbelievably kind and lovely and I’m obsessed with their playlist- sorry to the owners for my quiet singing along, the food was that good I just lost myself in the moment. Thank you for such a good evening! I write this as I eat the ice cream it’s amazing Seriously if you guys can drop a link to your playlist I would love you forever Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Booh offers a wonderfully different menu. We thoroughly enjoyed the super combinations of flavours and textures in each course of the freshly cooked food. The two venison main course options were excellent and the brie on waffle dessert cleverly inventive. We wished we lived closer than Essex to eat here again but highly recommend a meal at Booh to all and wish the couple well with their relatively new venture. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Order type: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £40–50 Recommendation for vegetarians: Highly recommend Vegetarian offerings: Clearly labelled vegetarian dishes Dietary restrictions: My wife tries to avoid excessive gluten and dairy products but had no problem choosing an excellent meal.
