Came in with an expectation of a burger, but to my suprise, a giant pretzel passed by. That sealed the deal, I got a Caesar salad and an appetizer pretzel. Was a perfect lunch to a good day in the mnts. You will not be dissapointed, I really enjoyed the experience. My aunt & uncle took me to Boondocks for lunch. This is one of their favorite places to eat in West Jefferson. I ordered the pot roast. It was delicious. The plate was completely full with pot roast making a ring around mashed potatoes with a rosemary veggie glaze. I dug in & ate til I was full. The pot roast was so tender, cooked to perfection. The rosemary veggie glaze which had onions, carrots, & celery, was delicious & the vegetables were tender & so delicious. When I was full & stopped eating there was hardly a dent in my plate full of food. I had enough food left over for my supper, plus still enough for another meal. The amount of food I had was ridiculous. All for $16. I dare say that this dish, the pot roast could be shared between two people. It's a lot of food. The restaurant is really cool. They have a wide selection of beer, cocktails, & wine. My uncle told me that Boondocks has their on distillery & brewed their on beer right down the road from the restaurant. He enjoyed a beer with lunch while my aunt & I had a lovely glass of a white wine. The restaurant is very nice, decorated very cool. I really loved the hard wood floors that creaked & popped when we walked across it. I highly recommend Boondocks Brewing - Taproom & Restaurant to everyone. They have a wide selection of food from steaks to hamburgers & everything in between. They also have a kids menu for the young ones. I can't wait til I can go eat at Boondocks again. It's delicious. Parking: Plenty of parking on the street.
