What a gem of a pub nestled amongst the beautiful backstreets of Calstock. We were greeted with a smile and cheerful chat before being taken to our table. The food was superb! Having heard that their Sunday roasts were legendary, I can confirm that they certainly are. The meat was cooked to perfection and the vegetables were divine and plentiful! Definitely worth a visit. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Price per person: £20–30 Recommendation for vegetarians: Highly recommend

First visit to the Boot Inn and the staff were great. I had asked for a Goats cheese salad which caused a few problems because my dyslexic brain had read 'greek salad' for Goats' !!! But the salad was great anyway. The roast looked good and next time I will go for the veggie roast. !
