Heard about boating on various travel vlogs and decided to give it a try while visiting Vienna. Surprisingly easy to rent an electric boat here and the staff were happy to explain the different options available, provide life vests if requested, and explain how it works (and it is very easy). Had to leave photo ID with them while renting though. This part of the Danube is quite wide and boating is nice in summer. We were just out for a short one (with our young child, who was OK sitting with one of us) and pleasantly surprised they charged for just the half hour (19EUR) instead of full hour which we had assumed was the minimum charge.

The place is absolutely gorgeous. Happy Hour is extremely cool :)) and Andrei is the best waiter!!
