Not only should Fossil Country Frontier Museum be visited, but also Bootleggers. Most guests recommend trying perfectly cooked ribeye, steak salads and fried chicken. Get your meal started with delicious wine or good beer.

This steakhouse is well known for its great service and friendly staff, that is always ready to help you. Prices are fair for the quality you receive. There is a cool atmosphere and spectacular decor at Bootleggers. Google users awarded this place 4.5.

Overall this place is really great for Kemmerer because the food is amazing and service is good, but I just have a few recommendations to improve even more. 1. The food is really great, but their homemade ranch doesn't taste anything like ranch, it has too much dill and it tastes like tzatziki sauce. I would just call it "house dressing" so people don't expect ranch. 2. They need to add a couple ceiling fans or something to help with the excess smoke from the cooking. I know I have a sensitive nose and we sat right by the cooking, but I couldn't take deep breaths and my clothes smelt like smokes when I got home. 3. They also need to make one plan for seating people and stick to it. Some people were asked if they wanted to wait and other people were just told they didn't have any tables and sent away. Everyone should be asked if they want to be put on the wait list not just some, this just really hurts business. When we left at 7:30pm there were 2 tables open that could have been filled, but many people were just sent away and not even asked if they wanted to wait. Food for thought... Take it or leave it, but the food is so good these little fixes could just make this place amazing! Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $20–30

Had an amazing meal here the steak I ordered was the best steak I have had in a very long time! And the lobster tail was cooked to perfection. I really liked the atmosphere and how well utilized the space for it was. The service was quick and they checked up on us appropriately. Highly recommend if you are in the area! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Loaded Baked Potato, Jalapeño Poppers, Surf and Turf Ribeye and Shrimp

I took 3 of my adult children, their spouses and several children to bootleggers around Christmas time. What a wonderful place to go!!!!! They were so warm and friendly. The service was excellent, they catered to our every whim with a smile. Even for as large as a group as we were they made us feel special. NOW, lets talk about the food and drinks! My Goodness we had everything from Sparkling drinks, smoked mac and cheese, chicken tenders to Buffalo sliders and New York Strip and every bite was better then the last. The kids cleaned their plates and the adults loved the food. It was a night that wonderful memories are made of and we thank you. One of a kind restaurant for sure! We will be back!!!!
