The tonkatsu don (not on the menu) here is the best effing bang for your buck on the island. Seriously. 80 PHP for crispy, delicious pork cutlet and a side of rice - ridonkulous. I ate here 5 times while being on the island for a week! The shrimp tempura is also delicious! The establishment is new (opened in the past month) and hidden in the alley but here are the directions. 1. Find Starbucks on White Beach. 2. Facing Starbucks, go right - past Fish Eye (recommended dive shop) until you pretty immediately see a sign that says Tsukiji Kameda. Turn right into that alley. 3. Past the sunset, it will be dark and will feel shady. It's okay. Worry not. You're safe - and only a 3 minute walk from the best meal you'll ever have bought for less than $2. (I honestly would pay $12 easily for this tonkatsu in the States.) 4. When you see the sign overhead that says Club Ten, the restaurant will be on the left. 5. After your delicious meal (you're welcome), walk back to the beach or keep going in the direction you were walking to get to Main Road. You'll turn left when you see Yegrina dive shop and another right to get to it.
