Nestled on Kamirenjaku in Mitaka, Border Bread offers a wide array of baked goods available for takeout and delivery. The cozy establishment is a hidden gem for longtime patrons who appreciate its nostalgic charm, although its new location has drawn mixed impressions. Open from Tuesday to Saturday between 10:00 AM and 6:00 PM, it's perfect for those aiming for a quick bakery visit.
The small shop features an appealing selection of pastries, with sweet delights often drawing high praise for their delicious taste. However, opinions on overall hygiene and service appear divided, hinting at differing customer experiences. One can conveniently make payments via debit cards or NFC mobile methods while enjoying monthly specialty days like a celebrated bagel event. It's important to note the limited accessibility for wheelchairs within and outside the premises, along with the absence of restrooms on-site.
A glance through visitor feedback reveals varying sentiments typically emphasizing the friendly atmosphere and delightful bread options over concerns about onsite conditions. Given the price level, it remains a spot to frequent if one seeks affordability in bread and pastry offerings. However, potential visitors should remain mindful of varying personal reviews and the noticeable lack of recent updates from the business itself.

I love bread and this is my favorite bakery. I’ve been a fan for over ten years since they were still at the old location. The bread is obviously delicious but the staff are so nice I always keep coming back. They have a bagel day every month which I love as well. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
