Our first fine dining experience in Florence and it was excellent. I didn’t know what to expect but I loved almost all the dishes. I especially loved the unexpected surprise dishes. Our server, Marco, played a giant role in how good of a time we had. He seemed so proud to present the dishes and his excitement made us excited. The fish dish was a very big miss for me but overall the dishes tasted very balanced and flavorful. The only thing lacking was creativity as most of the dishes didn’t really come off as special or innovative. However the fine service and taste more than made up for it. What a wonderful experience we had at Ristorante Borgo San Jacopo! As should be expected with a Michelin starred restaurant, both the service and the food were top notch. From the little surprises in between plate to the kind and courteous wait staff to the beautiful setting and atmosphere, this Restaurant hit on all its marks. For those looking to experience an Italian influenced Michelin starred Restaurant, I can’t recommend Borgo San Jacopo enough. Price per person: €100+ Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

My husband and I had an wonderful experience at Borgo San Jacopo. We were greeted by the friendliest staff who took our coats and led us to our table upstairs. We had a sommelier who assisted us in selecting wine parings, and a server who led us through one of the tasting menus. I needed several food accommodations and they were met without an issue. We had a long, elegant dinner experience in a beautiful setting. I would recommend this restaurant for a special occasion! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
