A homely atmosphere and beautiful interior make this restaurant so good. The high ratings of Botanic would be impossible without the cool staff. Fine service is something that guests note in their comments. Prices at this place are worth attention because they're affordable. As for the Google rating, this spot got 4.7.

Wow! Wow! Wow! I’m from Houston, Texas and have wanting REALLY good food since I got here. I was recommended Botanic and as a foodie, I 100% feel conformable passing the recommended on! Kisses to the chef! I had the chicken dish with a side of fried okra. My husband had the crusted red snapper with rice and both dishes were phenomenal. The fired okra was seasoned to perfection. Not too much but literally just right. It was so good I asked my husband to stop eating so I cousin have more. The chicken was juicy and paired well with the goat cheese and micro greens. Tip: I would pour your own sauce on the snapper. It was good but still may be best to taste it before pouring it over the entire meal. Now, the service. It’s not easy to start and end your service with exceptional service. Everyone did THEIR job well that was consistent from the bread to server. Speaking of bread, it was my only complaint. They offer complimentary bread with several choices of butter. It is absolutely delicious. The only problem is the bread is flaky leaving the table dirty the entire meal. The outside and inside are stunning! The property sits on a lake, offering an indoor and outdoor restaurant, outside bar, indoor bar/lounge and small putting green area. Attached to the property is a full garden center with extensive greenery. I would want to come back during the day in order to experience everything they had to offer. Lastly, it is highly recommended to make a reservation. Date night was a success thanks to The Botanic. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $40–50 Recommendation for vegetarians: Highly recommend Vegetarian offerings: Clearly labeled vegetarian dishes Parking space: Plenty of parking Parking options: Free parking lot Kid-friendliness: They don’t have a designated kids menu but they do have options for them. Grilled cheese, chicken tenders, and pasta. Wheelchair accessibility: Tables can be moved to accommodate.

My husband and I had our engagement pictures taken here, but had never dined before yesterday. We regret making a reservation sooner. A dining experience unlike anywhere else in Auburn/ Opelika area. Attentive servers, unique menus, and one of a kind atmosphere with the greenery and outdoor space usage. Food was phenomenal. We enjoyed the fried green tomatoes appetizers and all of the entrees were plentiful in size and so flavorful. We also loved the personalized touch of having our names printed on the menus.
