We came to Botánico with a reservation to celebrate a friends birthday. I ordered the calamari as an appetizer with the ribeye burger as the entree. The calamari was an amazing first bite, but the flavors were a bit overbearing. The burger was a 3/5. I unfortunately would not recommend this restaurant to people despite the beautiful atmosphere. We waited an hour and 24 minutes for our food to arrive. While 5 other tables that came after us were served, we had to ask our server if our order had been placed since there was no communication. We were informed that the reason for the delay was that the chicken someone in our group ordered took 45 minutes to make. I just wish our appetizer was brought out and we were checked on and informed of the cause behind the delay. The manager was apologetic and offered free dessert, which we unfortunately had to decline due to the tardiness of our food delaying us to our next event. For a Michelin recommended restaurant, I expected the staff to be attentive and we left disappointed with our experience. Food: 3 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 4 Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $600–700
