After a long walk around Crosby Hall, come to this restaurant and have a rest here. Bottarga is famous for offering Greek and Mediterranean cuisines. Don't forget to taste good sea bass, calamari and tuna ceviche at this place. You can order tasty chocolate cheesecakes, chocolate cakes and ice cream. It might be good to try delicious prosecco, Pisco sour or beer. Guests don't highly appreciate coffee at this spot.

What a delicious meal. Everything we ordered was very tasty. We especially loved the bread with all of their dips, the yellowtail, chicken and those padron peppers - wow! The only dishes I wouldn’t re order would be the tuna and the artichoke. The ambiance of the restaurant was lovely and service was friendly and helpful. We were unfortunately too full for dessert but would love to leave space for it next time. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £50–60 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

We used to come to Chicama quite often before it closed, and we absolutely loved it. We tried Bottarga hoping it would live up to those expectations, but unfortunately it didn’t. While the service was good, the food was disappointing. Portions are very, *very* small. The pisco sour was barely two sips; the artichokes tasted like they came straight out of a jar; and the aubergine dip felt overly processed and not fresh at all, topped with some rather odd crispy onions. The crudos (yellowtail and tuna with pepper) were fine, but nothing memorable. Dessert (the semifreddo) was just about passable. In total, we spent £150 for two people, which felt hard to justify given the experience. It honestly comes across more as a place designed for appearances than substance (everyone filming TikTok of the chocolate dessert), and we left quite disappointed. I would strongly suggest reviewing both the menu and the pricing to better reflect the quality being offered. Another great meal. Expensive but the food is worth it and the service is great. Managed to accommodate more comfortable seating for my pregnant partner, and Neon our waiter was amazing (second time we’ve had him and both times he’s been amazing so thank you!) Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
