Had a wonderful 3 night stay here, comfortable room with great shower with deep bath, nice touches like filter coffee and a little flask for fresh milk, food was delicious and reasonably priced with a lovely freshly cooked breakfast. The staff were all pleasant and helpful and nothing was a problem. The only issue for me was the service charge which was added to the final bill (on line check out) without being given prior notice, however this was sorted out by the morning staff without a problem when I questioned it, thank you for a lovely stay Rooms: 5 Service: 5 Location: 5 Hotel highlights: Romantic, Quiet

We didn’t stay, only visited for a meal! Food and drinks: Food and drink was very nice, the service was good but there was a lack of attention to detail! A couple of small things: item missing from the plate although listed on the menu, wrong dessert delivered. These errors were rectified without fuss but shouldn’t have happened in the first place! Service: 3 Location: 3

Stayed at The Bower Inn, Bridgwater for a work related trip. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. The room was stocked with everything you could need including special touches like homemade biscuits! The toiletries were very useful too. Would recommend this hotel Service: 5
