I just got off the phone with staff at Bowlero to explain that I had bought a Groupon for the very kind volunteer from Big Brothers, Big Sisters to use to take my son on an outing. The only day he could do it was this past Father's Day. They arrived upon opening at 11am that Sunday, but all lanes were booked until 3pm. So they couldn't do any bowling. I explained that the Groupon will expire in 2 days. The staff said if the Groupon scans, then it will be accepted. I asked what if it doesn't, he said, "I don't know what to tell you. If it scans, then it'll work. But I can't guarantee it will scan if it's past expiration." I asked if anything else could be done since I already communited with Groupon and was told I had to deal with the business who is supposed to at least honor the value of the Groupon. The staff said, "You bought it from Groupon and that's the business you have to deal with then. I don't know what else to tell you." So were out the money and bowling for my son who loves bowling. I do my best as a single mother for a son with no father to afford recreation for him and to not put financial pressure on a very kind volunteer from Big Brothers, Big Sisters to take my son out so he has male bonding. Bowling is very expensive and this was what I thought a good option to afford it for my son. We don't celebrate Father's Day because we have no fathers in our lives, so we had no idea Bowlero would be packed on Father's Day. I tried calling that day to see what we could do, but no one answered. I'm sharing my story so that people of Tucson could take their business to other bowling alleys rather than support one that doesn't want to help out people involved in a very special program changing the lives of small children everyday.

Went here with my friends on Saturday, our usual spot was full. This place ended up being better than our old spot, employees are quick and attentive and the pricing is pretty good for the unlimited bowling. We'll be making our way back next Saturday as well!

1 Star — Disappointed and Disrespected at Bowlero Tucson Our group of six arrived at Bowlero Tucson excited for a fun afternoon of bowling. Unfortunately, what should’ve been a simple check-in turned into a frustrating and disappointing experience. One member of our group was running about 25 minutes late. We explained we were happy to pay full price for everyone—including the late arrival—and asked if the rest of us could start bowling. The employee at the counter refused, saying we couldn’t begin until every person in our party was present because he “didn’t know how many lanes we’d need.” We clearly stated there were six of us total and confirmed that six people can share one lane. Despite that, he made us stand in the doorway for about 15 minutes—some of our members are in their 80s—before reluctantly allowing us to check in. He also said our final member would not be allowed to join us once we started, even if we paid for him. By the time our sixth friend arrived (just minutes later), we had already been forced into an uncomfortable and embarrassing situation. After driving across town, he left upset and disappointed. As President of the Men’s Social Network of Tucson, I was hoping Bowlero could become our regular venue for group bowling events. Sadly, after this poor treatment, we’ll be taking our business elsewhere—most likely to Pinz, where we’ve heard they’re friendlier, more accommodating, and more affordable. A little flexibility and kindness would’ve gone a long way. Instead, Bowlero lost a potential long-term group of loyal customers.
